Sledding!

The girls experienced their first sledding experience with their well-seasoned cousins.

Hmmm... the girls aren't too keen on all this cold, wet snow. It's a shame too because we've had a couple of days here at home where it snowed 12 inches in less than a day. The girls prefer to sip hot cocoa and watch Daddy shovel our very long, long, long driveway from the comforts of the living room window.

Princess Christmas in the Windy City

Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty Cousin Ky-Ky put her tiara and fairy skirt on and joined the princess parade.
This year the girls received Princess fare for Christmas. Their great-grandparents funded their princess dress up clothes, while Santa brought Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty barbies and coloring books. They carried their barbies wherever they went (including the dinner table and bed) and didn't want to take off their "glass" slippers when bedtime came. They loved spending time with their four girl cousins, playing dress up and barbies, dancing to Daddy's guitar, and reading books about... what else... princesses, of course.
