If a composer could say what he had to say in words he would not bother trying to say it in music. -Gustav Mahler

Why I hardly blog anymore
Some of you may remember the song from your childhood "Saturday is a special day, it's the day we get ready for Sunday." Today our family rose early and went right to work cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. By 3pm I was tuckered out (still not finished cleaning) and ready for a break. I sat down to the computer to read emails and was on the computer for maybe 10 minutes. In walked my sister-in-law and she picked up Baby G and said "it looks like Baby got into some chocolate." "Chocolate," I said, surprised, "we don't have any chocolate... I wonder what she picked up off the floor." In that short amount of time, my 3 year old daughters both pooped, tried to wipe themselves and got poop on the floor, and left the bathroom door open. Their baby sister, who loves the bathroom, went directly in and I don't think I have to fill in the details for you. I have the girls in their room, Baby is down for a nap, clean, fed (by bottle) and I am sitting here still wondering when it gets "easier." Oh, to long for the days when cleaning up a mess was picking up a few toys. This is part of the reason I hardly blog anymore... life has gotten so hectic and the material for blog entries is getting more... crazy. Baby will live and I will get over this foggy haze of disbelief.

I love you!!!!!
i keep wondering when the poop eating will happen over here. i think it happens at least once in every family. sometimes i think it's easy, and then i remember i lost my patience 5 times today and there is a massive pile of laundry downstairs that never shrinks. it's not easy. i think it gets easy when we are grandmas.
alas Heather, I too lack blog fodder, because who wants to know about the load of laundry I did that day and that the dishes I unloaded? Sorry to hear about the chocolate incident. I hope everything else is well.
Oh dear...If Greta is that hard up for chocolate, I will send her some! I will never look at chocolate in the same light! LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!!
