One week old and wearing the preemie outfit the twins came home in from the hospital. It fits. Baby E lost 14 ounces five days after birth. So Mommy has had to nurse, pump, and supplement with formula to make sure baby is getting 2 ounces AFTER nursing.
I can't believe how in love I am with this girl. She is such a sweet, sweet baby.
One week and half... went to the pediatrician and she gained 15 ounces in a week. She's now an ounce more than she was when she was born. I'm so glad the crazy eating schedule is working. Only issue now... she has gotten too lazy to nurse and just wants the bottle, which is fine if I want to spend the next year married to the breast pump, but I don't. If breast is best, why can't it be easier???

LOVE the pictures. I think you finally have a baby that looks like you. I had a little tear because she looks so much like you at birth. Good job on helping her gain weight and strength. I too, wish it were easier on you, dear Heather. Hope you're being cared for and resting. Love, you Mama
I totally agree--everything that is "good for you" is the same as "hard for you." Hang in there. She is gorgeous.
YAY! Love baby E, she's beautiful, and perfect. I'm so happy for you, and so glad she's gained the weight you wanted her to.
Breast is only best when it works, don't kill yourself to do it, friend. I miss you!
